Sounds like an exposed wire making its way to ground. When it blows the fuse use a test light to make the connection across the fuse. If there is a short the light will be on. Wiggle wires until the light goes off or if the light is off wiggle wires till it comes on. Normally that will lead you to the problem.thanks for the input.....it will run just fine then you notice that the tractors temp gauge and no instrument lights are working.after shutting the tractor off ,it will not crank untill the 30 amp fuse is replaced again!!
Not really, nothing electrical needed to keep it running, all mechanical. Electrical system only powers starter, gauges & lights.Since it runs with the fuse out, there's a hint as to the root cause.
