What compares with Kubota L4060?

Maybe Kioti NX4010. But heck out the added bells and whistles that are standard with kioti, and the prices are pretty good. I bumped up a tractor size and got free cab for the same price as a smaller open station kubota. Kubota backhoes are kick *** though. You are going to pay for it.

Check out an NX4510. All the features of a Grand L for way less $. No idea once you figure a backhoe into the mix though. I never used a Kioti backhoe so if that's a must have and something you will use frequently need to demo one first to see how that compares to Kubota. Might be a problem as you might have to find a larger dealer (if TN maybe Larry Stoves?) as finding one sitting around on a dealer lot with a BH might be a search.
I liked the Grand L pretty well, but one of the things I liked a lot better about the NX is all the bells and whistles are much easier to use. Things like stall guard, linked pedal, auto PTO, etc...those are simple rocker switches vs navigating software menus with the Kubota. Much simpler and doesn't matter if there is sun glare on the dash...
There isn't an NX4010 - that's a DK which is slightly smaller frame. Not sure, but even with SE option on it, you don't get all the Grand L extras with a DK. You do with an NX.

Doubt the NX4510 HST will be a good option. Called one dealer and the quote was $41.5K with the backhoe. Kioti is running a special for a "free" FEL till 30 June. But thats at least $3K more than the comparable Kubota L model. Trying to stay as close to $35K as possible.

Ouch....that's an expensive BH! $15k option. Might want to call around and ask a couple other dealers to be sure. I called one big dealer in TN to "price check" my local one. The larger dealer in TN was way higher on price for just the tractor.
But very well could be there is a big difference in base price for the 2 tractors, and another big difference on the price of the BH making the Kioti cost more than the Kubota. Kubota multiple attachment rebates also count the loader as 1 where Kioti does not so you get a better rebate with Kubota....but those types of offers change frequently.

Interesting! Think kioti prices are going up significantly? Kubota coming down some? How about all the features. Does one have em and the others dont?

NX vs Grand L are very similar on features. Each has a few small details the other doesn't, but the main things are there. HST+ does a little more with the hi/low in each range on the Grand L, but the other conveniences are all there.
Overall, for just the base tractor + FEL the NX is more machine (~500 lbs, a few more engine & PTO HP, more loader capacity) for less $. The BH and mounting kit must be the wildcard.

Hard not to like the NX....doesn't mean someone wouldn't have reasons to prefer a Grand L, but would be a stretch to call one or the other vastly superior.
For your price quotes, what I found was Kubota was real similar in cash vs financed price. Kioti was a huge difference (like $4k less for cash price at the NX size). So how you are paying will be a factor too. If you're going to write a check or finance some other way than dealer, make sure you are comparing cash price to cash price. My dealer was real good about being upfront about pricing and clearly stating "cash price is $X, 0% Kioti finance price is $Y". But have heard from other members who had problems like their dealer quoted them cash price, but at delivery time were surprised with the higher 0% price tag. Also, make sure you spec both machines same way to get true comparison. Like if you want the rear remote, NX comes with it standard, upcharge on Kubota. Industrial tires, filled tires, delivery were small upcharges for Kubota but included with price for Kioti. So I had to tell the Kubota dealers specifically how I wanted the machine to get true apples:apples.
