I just purchased a 2040 and want to make sure I post in the right place. What determines "Vintage"?
the year when a wine's grapes were harvested. What determines "Vintage"?
We have antique tags for old cars we have. It's hard to believe they can be put on a 1998!Vintage for cars is 25 years and older, Antique is older than 50 years.
When did I get so old?We have antique tags for old cars we have. It's hard to believe they can be put on a 1998!
I must be vintage at 74 then. I'm certainly not like a fine wine however.I was told 30 years was antique and that seams to vary with groups!
I have my Dad’s MF 135 he bought new in 1975, when I was 15. I call it Stinky due to the diesel exhaust exiting underneath the rear axle.
I just consider it ’Old’ as Vintage would date me.![]()
The exhaust wafting up to me when sitting still or worse letting the engine run while hooking up an implement is what annoys me. I Stink the rest of the day.I hate diesel exhaust blowing in my face, but I'm not sure I'd want the tractor to exhaust under the axle in the summer. It gets awfully dry around here.
