What did I do?

2009 MF2410 so I am pushing some snow this morning and the tach cable is screaming, I shut it off and it is fine , does it again , so I bring it in and remove cable , I was going to leave it off, BUT, In doing so I thing it hit the cluster board or shorted something, as it would not start? So I jump it at the started it runs, but no Gage's function , yes I checked all levers and switches . Thanks for any advise

There are some fuses near the battery.

I would also look for broken, or burned connections in the area you were working.

I checked all the fuses in the fuse box and didn't see any broken wires, that is what has me confused, unless the cable wiped around and hit the back of the cluster circuit board?

Check and see if you have a main fuse at the starter.

Double checked all fuses and found a bad one, 10 amp for the turn signal , it didn't look bad the first time I looked at tit. I took my time and thankfully it was only a fuse

I learned a long time ago, to put a test light on them, looks can be deceiving.

With the plastic fuses, it's really easy to turn on the power, and touch a grounded test light to both the 2 terminals on the top. If the light does not light on both sides, the fuse is blown.

In an automotive fuse box this is actually faster then pulling them, and looking at them.
