Selected tile for the back splash and Showers for our new house build. Started looking at Hickory flooring and made a couple of recommendations to my wife and the design specialist helping us.

Snapped bell housing bolts on a 12" pump. Dropped the belt guard and wiped out a drive belt for the vacuum pump.

Gonna be a fun day

This one has been sitting for a few days. pulled it out of the jobsite Monday. But put off tearing into it until I ran out of other projects

Today I had to put my big boy britches on, suck it up and tear into.

I actually got the pump end removed. The bolts that snapped off flush extracted already. Fixing to get the vacuum pump belt replaced. Then after lunch, I'll run over to a bolt vendor, get some grade 8 or 10 bolts to replace all of them for the bell housing. Then I can put it back together.

Maybe tread lock blue which has always provided easy removal years later if you can't use antisieze?

Replied to 6 Emails. Checked the usual websites. Responded to two. Made breakfast for wife and fed the dog. Then walked dog. Changed batteries in the surveillance trail camera and loaded all the pics off the SD card. Paid two bills on line. Looked up a recipe that used tortilla chips and canned tuna fish. Watered the garden and started the water refill of our fountain. Took out several annoying tree limbs, with chain saw on a ladder. Removed 30 or so pavers off our patio project to let them dry and set up for mortar. Drove to the local store to buy Wine and Cigs. Shop vac-ed the gutters. Shut off and moved the hose from the fountain re-fill. Helped wife reconfigure her smart phone. Made lunch, based on tortilla chips and tuna. Tended the garden around the house. Re-Checked the usual websites and E-mail with a glass of wine. Watched a few Youtubes on creating a space for Mason Bees. Walked and fed dog again. Sprayed Vegetation Killer on our walkways. Did a little weed eater work. Made dinner. Mortared and set the thirty pavers, as it got dark. Walked and fed the dog again, away from the areas I'd sprayed.. Drank a bit more wine, checked the usual internet again, and posted this. :)
You forgot to mention about knocking the cobwebs out of the ceiling corner.😂

I got to spend 6 hours yesterday crawling around under a 100+ year old building looking for water valve shutoffs in a dirt crawlspace. All was fine until my way out. About 50' from the end I ran my left shoulder into a piece of unistrut and it took me to the ground. OUCH!

Built a set of telescoping stabilizers for a Deere 3032E, put a new seat on my Steiner (I work at home), and worked on an adjustable strut for a Ventrac blade.

As a ten year old flying to see the grandparents on Pan Am the captain invited me to the cockpit and I had never seen anything like it... mesmerized by it all.

Maybe we did live in the golden age...

I was so enamored my dad called the tower at the Oakland Airport and I was invited to visit the tower...

In the Navy dad had experience as a flight controller... Jacksonville Florida... don't know if that factored or not.

I spent a full 9 hour day explaining to people, who were just trying to have an enjoyable day outdoors on a snow covered mountain, that ice, and freezing rain can overpower the best "lift access" machinery man can make.
It will be better tomorrow, "but check the web page for status". ;-)
