What diesel fuel you using?

Hi there. I am new here. I usually buy simple diesel fuel on any petrol station

I thought I was the only one that felt I was going through blended diesel like crazy?? Hard to believe that #2 is that more efficient but it is. Mow way more than snow blow on a tank.

Add another 10-15% onto efficiency by using #3, if you can find it. large stationary and portable gen sets; we used to use #3 all the time (40 years ago). Its availability may have been affected by the sulfur content rules. Question I cannot answer is if the switch to low sulfur may have an affect on today's engines if high sulfur is used in them.

I wonder if today's motor oils contain ingredients to deal with high sulphur.

Regular pump diesel (#2). Tried the red dye stuff just once and had some trouble with wax dropping out of it (only at below 10 F).

Use in my tractor in 5 gallon containers and buy 5 gallon containers to refuel the little gem Izuzu diesel generator. I put the white additive in the stuff into the generator's 60 gallon tank. Don't bother on the tractor. On rare occasion, I'll pump from the generator's tank to fill the tractor but not much any more.
