I have a 3320. I have the 300X loader with the four elbow male loader line plugs that connect to the tractors DSCV. Two face up and two face down when installed in teh DSCV. Can these male p0lugs be rotated on the oil line at all - mine do not seem to move at all. So are the plugs supposed to face up or down when plugged into the DSCV? The hoses when filled with oil do not twist much without coiling. Real pain. I am sure I did something to mess up their position.

Are you talking about these turkeys ?
If they are under presure they might not want to rotate, but they do indeed rotate freely when not under pressure.

Yes I am! Thanks for the picture link!! So the connections DO rotate on the lines and not just inside the DSCV?? Hmm. What is the way to releive that pressure so I can rotate them to get them to line up correctly? Also which is the proper direction - all up or all down?

They face down on my 3520 but I haven't tried them the other way.

I am no expert at this stuff, but it is my understanding (and possibly misunderstanding) that the term DSCV refers to the valve itself and not the port or "jack" you plug the implement's hydraulic lines into. So your question kinda makes me scratch my head.
But, if you question is, "Does the male portion of the coupling rotate when connected to the female portion of the coupling?", then the answer is yes. If you are experiencing some stiffness, lower the loader all the way down in float mode (push the stick ALL the way forward) and then do big circles with it until it fully settles, then try and unplug or rotate the fitting/coupling/whateveryoucallit...
I had one that was a bear to remove and then WOULD NOT go back on. I was moments from using a BFH when I came to my senses and realized the line might be under pressure. I then pushed the ball looking thing inside the male coupler against some metal on my tractor and enjoyed a warm hydraulic fluid shower. Then it went right on like the others.

Does the male portion of the line rotate on the line itself? I can rotate it in the DSCV's connection but so far not on the cable.

No they do not rotate on the line. However, you should be able to twist (rotate the whole line to plug them in facing up. I connect mine with them all facing up so the hoses are not hanging down and will be less likely to catch on a obstruction.
