What Do I Have?

I just purchased what is believed to be a MF20. It has yellow sheet metal and a MF32 Front Loader. The serial number is 9A235606.

In my pursuit of discovering the year and model, I found confusing references. The serial number on mine is in between a 1975 MF20 and a 1976 MF20C. You might say, you have a 1975. However, the serial numbers for 1975 start at 9A207681 and the 1976 MF20C starts at 9A250640. That leaves a huge hole which makes me think that in 1976, Massey Ferguson was making different models of the MF20.

Any help would be appreciated.

Nice. I can't see enough of it, is it based on the MF 135 design?

It is my understanding that the MF20 was based on the MF 135 and the differences were based on agricultural (MF135) vs. industrial (MF20). Here is another look...

I found references to 20C serial numbers starting in 1976 and numbers up to 75 on the 20 model. It makes me think I have something like a 1976 MF20, maybe even newer. Does anyone know if, and for how long, MF made both the 20 and 20C?
