What Do I need to Know to Sell Air Guns?

I'm down sizing and getting rid of "stuff". I have an air rifle and a couple of air pistols to sell. Where would one advertise these? I think Craigslist and eBay don't allow firearm advertisements. How does one ship a air gun - any postal regulations to be aware of? My home state is Michigan.

I've bought pellet guns from Craigs list and last Christmas mailed one to my son in Colo. no problem.I'm in California so if I can do it anyone can.

Yep --- air guns are not considered firearms.

Hmmm. Found this on Craigslist page: craigslist | about > prohibited

Here is a partial list of goods, services, and content prohibited on craigslist:

weapons; firearms/guns and components; BB/pellet, stun, and spear guns; etc

Also checked on eBay and only grandfathered sellers can sell airguns on eBay. Guess I need to find an air gun enthusiasts' site to advertise on.

They may be prohibited, but they show up a lot on Craigslist. I've never looked for them on eBay. I would also advertise in whatever local "trader paper" that may be prevalent in your area. We have "thrifty nickel" and Show-n-Tell papers (both free). There is also another local classified ad site that has a lot of listings (you can list firearms on that one). I think a lot of communities have a Facebook yardsale/ad site too, but I've never looked on those.
