Working on cleaning up what the previous owner used as a kettle hole. IE, dumping pit for everything they didn't want. The little 2320 made quick work of piling it up, but now what do do with it. I either need to move it to a different part of my property, or load it up to get rid of. Instead of dumping everything out back, this is in front yard. I am wondering what is available for the 200cx, and will save my back. Pictures show the current project, but in the future there will be brush cleanup, landscape projects, who knows what. I am looking for options, pallet forks, brush fork, grapple. Ideally I'd like something to pull the junk out and leave the soil.

I had similar work recently, cleaning up two old brush piles. When I got down to the bottom of the brush piles, I had quite a few partially-buried trees that needed to come out, so I used my pallet forks to spear down into the soil and pop them up.

This worked pretty well for me. If I needed to pick up lots of brush piles and strain the dirt out, I'd probably look for one of those comb-like thingies that attaches to the loader bucket.

I've seen pictures of 2520's with grapples on them, but not sure how a machine in that size range would handle with a grapple.

Good luck.

On a side note, does anyone know if the 3rd scv for the 2320/2520 was released?

Yeah, that right there is the biggest problem. A set of debris or brush forks will work to pick up the stuff, but may not get all the dirt out of it. What you need is something that can "grab and shake" to let the dirt fall out. What about getting a thumb for your backhoe? That way, you can at least make a cleaner pile first, then move it using some forks.

I think you need a set of forks, and a grapple. Search for "Millonzi" for LOTS of great grapple threads.

Thumb, and Forks are already on the list of needed tools. I have been looking at the grapple threads and the Millonzi 48" grapple looks like the ticket. Only about 80 lbs more than the bucket I have. Who makes a thumb for the 46 bh, have not had any luck finding any threads on that. Mostly see the bro-tek for the kubota's.

I did find an ATI bolt on grapple on the local craigslist. If I had the time that could be modified to a brush grapple. That could be a fun project.

I have not seen thumbs for the 46BH either...A few people with that model should call Bro-Tek and let them know there is interest in one.

I saw a very nice looking Bradco rock bucket the other day. It was only about 4' wide and looked like just the ticket for our smaller tractors. The one I saw was a skid steer mount :( and I don't see it at their web site yet, but it might be worth a look. Here is a link to their larger ones.

Well, I picked up an ATI bolt on grapple, now I need to get a diverter setup. Looked over Kennyd's thread on adding a diverter on his 4110. I figured the price was right, and I am looking into building or buying a brush fork so I can move this to either.

Plus after cutting a few tress down saturday am I decided I needed something to assist in the brush cleanup. A quick trip to the local dealer and a set of Frontier pallet forks made cleanup really quick.

any thought's about bolting the grapple to the forks?
