What do the masses think on this used Kioti?

I have a 2000 (I think) JD 2210 with 850 hours and I’m looking to go to a 35-40 horse tractor. Local place has a used 2017 Kioti CK4010 hst with loader and what looks to be plumbed for a third function. 700 hours on it. Price is $17900. I got a trade amount offer for $7500 on mine. Which with a 72” deck, loader, and hydraulic snow plow seems a bit low. But it also saves quite a bit on tax. What’s the word on these Kioti? Anything to be concerned with here?

If it's from the dealer in Winesburg, Ohio, the plumbing for the grapple is from the rear remotes.... not a true 3rd function. It doesn't appear to be in bad condition, price is "fair".... they should be able to do a little better, especially since your trade value is kinda low. Either way, I would beat them up a little more on the price!

It sounds like your tractor is an earlier version of what is now a 1 series. When I bought a JD 2025r they gave me $7000 trade in on a Kubota BX with 60” mid mount mower, FEL, and rear blade, 800 hours on it. You have a snow plow with yours which would add a little more value. There trade in value seems reasonable.

The Kioti is a big step up in size and power but I don’t know if that price is fair or not.

I can say that I have been very pleased with my Kioti and havent had any issues to report since purchasing my Kioti in 2014.

I have a 2018 CK4010SE with 680 hrs, and has been very reliable. I could not have asked for a better tractor. Looking at your photos, the CK4010 looks in good shape. Order a OEM Kioti floor mat and you will be more than pleased with both appearance and safety, from nonslip point of view.

Unless the dealer confirms fluid change dates are recent, just for piece of mind, I would change all fluids and filters. Sort of like a reset and starting your ownership of from a proven service condition.

I also would track your 3rd function hydraulic lines, and see if they start at the Power Beyond or from rear remotes.

I have a Kioti DK35 that I bought new in 2007. I have never had any issues with it. Starts right up even in minus 20f without a block heater.
I would definitely buy another one.
