Hi:
I have been lurking for a while, trying to read through the 1,000,000 plus threads. The abbreviation & keeps showing up and I can't figure out what it means.
I have a bunch of projects planned and I will post pictures as they progress. I have a 130-acre farm and have completed many projects with my old Dayton 250 amp stick welder. I have had the Dayton welder for 30 years and it was used when I got it. Reading this forum has inspired me to try more complex projects that I had dreamed up but didn't quite have the know how to pull off and there are many things discussed here that I never would of thought of and didn't know I need until now ;-).
Current project: FEL bucket tooth bar
Next project: FEL Thumb
Future projects (If I live long enough!):
Self Leveling FEL for small CUT
Bobcat type Quicktach for my small CUT
Tag along and Trailer Gooseneck hitch for 3PH
3PH bale spear
Pan scraper
Root Bucket
Rock Bucket
Loose Material Bucket for Backhoe
Root Claw for Backhoe
Top and Tilt
FOPS with canopy
Draw bar hitch road grader
Top Soil Screen
Special Trailer for a Ranger UTV (To carry and be pulled by the Ranger)
These should keep me busy for a while ;-)
To facilitate these projects I just bought and have not yet set up a new Millermatic 251 mig welder with a gas setup and a new Miller Spectrum 625 plasma cutter. I have been using the above mentioned Dayton welder and a small portable acetylene torch and a Jet 7” capacity liquid cooled metal cutting bandsaw.
