What does it stand for ?

I actually have a serious question . What does the "DK" stand for on a DK45 . I know that usually any letters after the model number usually represent the type of Transmission or Tractor style . I believe the "K" stands for Kioti ,but unsure about the "D" . I looked at Kioti web site and they did not say .

The DK stands for "Daedong Kioti", the LK stands for "Lely Kioti" for when Lely was the distubitor. Im not sure what the LB, and CK stands for. Im sure the CK is "C something Kioti". The KL in the loader model is "Kioti Loader". We talked about this in a service school one time, they said what the LB was but i don't remember.

I wish someone would tell me what the TO stands for in my Ferguson, or the WD in my AC. It seems there is no logical numbering/lettering system in tractors.

I also would like to find out serial numbers references for Kioti tractors. Any one have a source?

Well I dont' really have a reference for SN# other than calling kioti. But if you want to know the year of your tractor, the first digit of the SN# is the last digit in the year. So say it was 4195-00034, then it would be made in 1994. This only applies to 1994-2004. Im not sure what they are using now.....or what they used before. I think they are starting them with a letter now.

The TO in TO20 stands for "Tractor Overseas", as opposed to the TE20, which was "Tractor England" (I think - it may be "Tractor Export"). I believe the TO's were made here, while the earlier TE's were made in England after Ford and Ferguson parted ways.
