The 2025 does not have regen. They did set the idle up to 1370 rpm, supposedly to meet emissions. They need to find out what Kubota is doing in this regard. The B3201's idle speed is 1050 rpm. It beats the pants off the 2025 except for that dreaded treadle pedal. My 2025 is arriving tomorrow afternoon. Too much hassle to switch to Kubota at this point. If this one is as good as my old 4010, it'll be fine. If it's like my lemony 1025, I'm switching to Kubota even though it may cost me some more money.
The tractors will get the regen right. Our VW Jetta TDI's is no big deal. About twice/month, it goes through a burn off of the accumulated soot on the soot collector. This is what regen is. That's when you know you're driving a diesel. Only other time is when you maybe have to search for a diesel station. Otherwise, it's like driving a small V8 with 3 cylinder fuel economy.
