So, I went the other way with the nut, and it got loose and didn't even pull the rod any. )</font>Call the dealer and let him deal with it as it is a warranty issue. I had the same problem in the beginning, but I was able to adjust it out. After you turned it two or three turns and it stopped, did you try the control again to see what difference, if any, it made? John
Edit: one more thing, look to see if it looks as though you could turn the rod itself to change it's position. Don't do too much and be careful about scarring anything as you don't want to void the warranty. J
