I just saw that EA went out of business. What happened? I always thought their stuff was top notch. I know it was expensive but I was surprised to see that they had went out of business.

Human Nature happened. The owner evidently spent to much of other peoples money on himself instead of the business and got so deep that the business couldn't recover. Thats the short of it.

You can start by reading about it here;

Grab a cold one and make some popcorn, you'll be there a while.

The website is still up accepting payments. Are they really closed or is the reputation just shot to hell?

EA didn't close. Thy are operating again, making attachments today. They are now saying you don't get charged until it ships. Either way, they will never get a penny from me after the way they did their previous customers....

Did you recently come out of a comma or have you been out of the country for a year. 🤣

Guess my opinion is different than many other TBN members, I say Hopefully EA has learned a good lesson and the business will grow better than it ever did in the past, they were very well known for building high quality attachments.

There came a point that Ted knew he was shutting the doors and yet CONTINUED to accept orders (paid in full) knowing they would not ship the order.

Let's hope it's the potential customers who have learned the lesson.

I've bought 3 EA implements over the years. As long as Ted is associated with EA I would never hand over my money.

If it were not for this forum - I would not have known about EA period.

I've always bought local. This situation is just one reason for doing things that way.

IMO, E.A made a quality product, But.. And its a big but... I wouldn't risk buying from them at this point. Good will among internet purchases goes a long way and from their past actions.. They have little to none. I feel bad for the people who lost money with them and bad for the workers at EA that were probably blindsided and put out of jobs due to greed or mis management.

Can't be any "snarkier" than this comment.

Consider the context. He knew I was ribbing him. Massey is always going on about women.

I really wanted an EA box blade, but they would never return my inquiry about stock. I would never buy one from them unless it was in stock and ready to ship.

I might buy from them, but I ain't payin' until it's at my door. They don't like it? Don't ship it! Why should I trust them if they don't trust me?

That's the ultimate downfall of any business. If the customer doesn't trust the company, demand goes away, revenue goes away, employees go away, and the business goes away.
