What has happened to tractors? Help us choose another workhorse for our tree farm.

It seems like I didn't receive notifications for the last few replies, my apologies. Just wanted to check back in an let everyone what made it to the farm yesterday:

We ended up getting the Ford 3930 in SC with 400 hours, they came down a little to $16,000 (no FEL or backhoe). Looks to be good shape and is running good so far, lets hope it will stand the test of time. Add some weights, flip the wheels and we will be in business. I should have brought out the NH for a group photo.

Please count this as a TractorByNet success story, the civil discourse was refreshing and the JD, MF, and Mahindra options you presented restored some of my faith in today's Manufacturers. Again, thanks for understanding what we were after and for steering us in the right direction!

That is virtually a brand new tractor. You did very well, price not bad either. I personally think you went the correct route. You should get great service from that machine!
