The TC33DA started shooting out lots of hydaulic fluid yesterday, and my husband thought it might be the filter seal busted.
But he put on a new filter he had in storage today (we bought two at the same time) and it's still spewing oil all over the place. He has determined that the filter is NOT the source of the problem, but he thinks that maybe a hose might have popped somewhere. But frankly, he's not sure.
Is this a warranty problem? We've had the tractor for only a year and a half, and it has a two year warranty on it?
You folks seem more knowledgeable about tractors than the guys that work in the service department at the New Holland dealer -- are there things that you can tell us that we could pass along to them, to help them diagnose and fix the problem?
BTW, it will be next week before we can contact the dealer about the problem -- he closed up shop for the holidays. In fact, EVERY NH dealer in this area closed shop for the week.
Thanks in advance.
