What I Tried and What I Bought

After months of deciding what I wanted verses what I needed I finally made a decision...after changing my mind several times.

I wanted a RTV but my needs are for a people and tool mover. So the four seater was at the top of the list. This was a hard decision...buying a tractor is mush easier . I narrowed it down to the RTV and Trans Mule and in the end the Trans Mule "fit my need" more than the RTV.

I will say I liked everything I test dove...and I test drove each one several times.

I'll post pics of what I tested.

First was the Ranger Crew. Man,,,, this thing has some power!! It was longer than the Trans and I have one place where the turning radius could be a problem. The other issue I had was I could not relax my foot on the throttle. If I tried to relax it it would accelerate.

This one ran great and had a good ride. I just did not like it that much and it made me think of the Yerf Dog sold by TSC.

I loved this machine. It just did not fit my needs.

Trans Mule

I am able to haul people and tools. The engine is very quite and folding the rear seat down and expanding the bed will be great. I wanted the RTV but no matter how I looked at it and put down on paper my list of needs the mule came out on top.

I will pick it up Friday afternoon or Saturday morning. I let you know if I made the right decission after a few weeks or months use .

Let me also add that I tried the LandPride Trekker...not enough dealers in the area.

And the Gator XUV would have been in the running if my dealer had not closed down and moved 60 miles away

I bought the Mule Trans last year and love it. I got a top and windshield. If I had it to do over I might not have gotten either. I'm sure you will enjoy yours!
