what is a deere 2030S

I'm looking at a deere 2030S. Owner says its late 1979. I thought 2030 stopped in "76. Vin says typ 2030s code 203sb Zul. Ges. Gew. 4200. It reminds me of a 2440. It has flat fenders and the rounded nose cone. The drawbar is a bolt on deal that I'm not familiar with. Tractor is in good shape and a good price, but I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking at. Is this a foreign tractor brought into the US. Is it the same as a standard 2030 from the US market? The hour meter/tach is in German. It looks like it has draft control? Everything else checks out good, but something is off. I don't want to get some oddball that is hard to get parts for.

Unfortunately I can't supply a link but you should be able to Google it. I did discover that an "S" means that it was manufactured at JD's plant in Germany so it's a legit tractor.
