Well, it's usually said that when it comes to any product, we're looking for 1.) high quality, 2.) easy to use, and 3.) inexpensive.
The old joke says you can pick any two.
That being said, I've had a Craftsman for 7-8 years and it still works as well today as it did when I bought it. Can't remember model # off hand, but it's likely changed since then, anyway. I know several people that swear by the quality of Stihl for everything from leaf blowers to chainsaws, but "Stihl" and "inexpensive" aren't usually used in the same sentence.
