Found a B3030 with only 30 hours, full warranty, includes a brand new Woods 7' groundbreaker-x backhoe (with thumb), Woods 6 foot box blade and the B3030 has a Kubota FEL. What would be a good price for this set-up?

Thanks for any input....

Is it at a dealer or private individual? If either I would be wondering why they are selling with so few hrs...

It is a dealer, took it in on trade and is adding the backhoe and boxblade to the unit. They sold it to a Landscape Co. and they quickly determined it was too small for their use.

Go to tractorhouse.com and do a search and they should have a few 3030's for sale. That will give you a ball park..

You are buying from a dealer and the backhoe and box blade are brand new so I wouldn't expect more than the usual discount from list on those items. The tractor is essentially new but I'd expect it to sell for about 20% off original list.

I bought my tractor under very similar circumstances: the original dealer took my tractor in on a trade up after 28hrs. He then added a new backhoe, remotes and loaded the rear tires. Sold it to me for approx $3000-3500 less than total list which was about 20% discount.

I don't know if this helps at all, but just in case it might I'll post it for you. I bought a new B3030HSDC this past July (2006). For the tractor new, with the LA403 loader I paid about $19,850. I have seen that other people have paid more and less for a similar setup. This probably doesn't help you does it? :(

Yes that does help. Thank the information.

How do you like the B3030. I am upgrading from a BX 23 and am looking forward to getting the machine.

I have put 45 hours on it since July. Most of the hours have come from putting in a yard at our home, digging out rocks with the loader, hauling rocks, dirt, & gravel w/ the loader, and pulling a landscaping rake and an old bedspring with weights on it for a drag. For all of those tasks it has plenty of power, and to me it seems to operate very smooth. I also finally got to use it just lately to clear 4 inches of snow off the drive. I just used the bucket, but I was doing about a 50 yard push so the bucket was full pouring out the sides heading uphill (a fair slope) with glare ice underneath from all the warm cold weather we've had lately. I put it in 4 wheel drive low gear running about 2000 to 2200 RPM and there was no problem at all clearing the drive. For me it seems to more than enough power, and it operates smoothly. I have to say I love the cab also, keeps you warm when it is cold keeps you cool when it is really hot, the heater and AC work great. The only down fall with the cab is you can't hook up a backhoe to my knowledge. So there is a sacrifice with the cab. Now I also want to tell you about the few things I have noticed on the more negative side, but I want to note that I wouldn't let either of them stop me from buying the tractor as they are quite minor in my opinion. The seat is not great, you seem to slide forward on it. This talked about in many threads, and there are ways mentioned in the threads to easily fix that. If I were you, I would tell the dealer that you won't buy it without them replacing the seat, because they should know by now it is an issue. Otherwise you can always buy a new seat or shim it up as some guys have done in the Kubota owning and operating forum threads. My last concern with the tractor is I live on a slight hill, and the B3030 seems to have a little bit of a high center of gravity for using it on inclines. However, from what I have gathered from others on these tractor forums is that it is common for almost all of the small tractors. That being said I do love my B3030 and it works great for me. I would also be interested to hear some testimony's from other B3030 owners to get their pros and cons on the tractor, and get their take on the stability of the 3030 on inclines as opposed to other tractors. So if anyone else out there has one please drop SJM1580 a note, as I am a fairly new B3030 owner and would not want him to only get my opinions seeing as I am not an expert. Sorry that got so long winded.
