Does the 673 have 4 or 6 tines/blades per rotor?

673 is 6 tines

Retail is 3190.00. Good deal should be about 2675.00 with setup.

Have you looked at the Kuhn tillers at all? My dealer loves them and I am torn between the Kuhn 53/190 and the Deer 673...About the same price...

OK.... so, why not buy the 673?? Will your dealer sell you one for the price you were basically hoping to pay for the 665?

This thread is over a yeaar old guys. I bought the 673 for about the same as the 665 and i love the 673. I would not look at any other tiller.

Duh.... one more example where you should always look at the thread date before jumping out there with a post!

Interesting to see some threads that are 4-5-6 years old that somebody or somehow they were dug up and "found new life"!

I paid C$ 4375 for JD 681 (81 in) delivered, or about $3700 US.

Is this a good price? I don't know.

Base price on Deere's build your own website is $4470 US, which amounts to a 17 1/4% discount from list price. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me, assuming you bought new.
