What is involved in a 50 hr service?

I am negotiating on my tractor deal now and was going to ask for a 50hr service in the price but got to thinking and I don't know what all is invloved. What parts(filters) and what fluids are being changed? How much is this service worth?

My dealer provided the labor and I paid for the parts. I just had my 50 hour done today and it cost me $129.48. He changed the engine oil and filter, fuel filter, hydraulic filter, HST filter, checked all the other fluids and greased all the joints. I don’t know if this is a fair price because this is my first tractor I've owned. Hope this helps.

I did my 50 hour (and 100 and 150) service myself. I have attached an image showing the receipts for the parts I needed to do the 50 hour service. I bought enough oil for two oil changes (50 and 150 hour). I bought two tubes of grease for the zerk fittings and at 176 hours I am still on my first tube. I wanted to make sure that I had enough NH134 Hydraulic fluid so I bought two gallons of that and still have about 1/2 gallon left. Total cost was 99.97 plus tax which made it 105.97 for the parts.

I am glad I have done it myself, I was a little leary but it has made me all that more familiar with my tractor. The 100 and 150 hour services both went smooth and just tonight I was looking to see what I have to do for the 200 hour service. I am racking up way to many hours on a machine I just bought December 29th. My dealer couldn't believe I was almost ready for the 200 hour service. He said that it is better to be using it than to pay all that money and just have it sit around, I tend to agree.
