This is off of my 850 Ford. Had to remove it to attach the Backhoe sub-frame. Was under the axle and bolted through the loader frame.The threaded stud is 5/8".

You could be right. Funny there wasn't one on the other side. A strap would make sense as there is not much room between the hole and the shoulder. Thanks for the suggestion.

Does not "increase" pulling capacity, it keeps attachments inline behind the tractor. A mower is a good example. Using sway bars will keep the mower right behind the tractor when in a ditch (instead of flopping to the low side) and keep it behind when backing up.

does not increase. it is merely a place for a sway bar to attach on a bracket under the axle. many time shte new brackets have multi hiles / slots for adjustment.. as the pin has to be in the same plane of movement as the 3pt lower lift pin.

some early brackets are cast and only fir one way so the pin lines up correctly.. etc.
