Egon agree it is John Deere key Fob. including house key and truck key Shame no Tractor key maybe between the other keys.

As for the rusty thing maybe a gate latch ?

I did mean the rusty thing. Keys were for size comparison. There is a JD key on the fob.

I don't think it was agate latch but remember I'm not positive what it was used for.
