Hi Im new to the forum . I recently bought a old Farmall i think . LOL.. The hood says 2404 special on it . The 2404 from what ive read was a industrial tractor with 28 inch rear tires mine has 36 . 4 speed tranny with a high and low range . It has a front drop axle like a 404 wide front end not like the industrial . Has power steering , 3 point hitch . I was once yellow but has a spray can red paint on it .i looked all over it but theres no tag to be found . Im thinking its a 404 with a 2404 tin on it or is that what the special means ? Either way its a good horse . Started the other week in 10 below weather like it had been running all night . Soon as spring comes she is getting some fresh paint .

IH did put a 2 on their ind. models . I have noticed this on YTs photo ads .

the industrial has a almost straight front axle this one has a drop type axle
