1977 Ford 3600
Good evening all,

I just bought a 1977 Ford 3600 and it has this valve for rear hydraulic control. I want to add a light duty Dunham Fehr loader but am curious if this hydraulic valve can work. Also does anyone have a spec sheet on it? Can’t find a model/serial number on it.

There are hundreds of that style valves still in use on older Ford tractors. Nothing wrong with them, except for the fact yours is only a single spool version, so it can only operate one pair of cylinders. You have a few choices. You can locate (and replace it with) a two spool version. They're not that hard to find. You can use that valve to supply a second valve (two spool loader valve) of your choice. You can add a Tisco sandwich plate under this valve, use the power beyond to supply a two spool loader valve, and still have use of this one for other purposes.

PS. This is the best price I've seen on this item in at least two years.

Does this power beyond just give me direct out and return to tank ports that I can attach to the loader valve with quick connects?

It give you three ports with which to connect another valve, yes. Whether you use quick couplers to do that depends on whether you decide the loader valve will stay with the tractor or go with the loader should you need to remove the loader. You SHOULD use couplers in one manner or other. Either between the tractor and the valve, or between the valve and the loader cylinders. How and where you place said valve will dictate which is best. I would recommend a loader valve with a power beyond sleeve, but again, that's your choice. If the loader has a valve with it, you may (for budget reasons) choose to use it, power beyond or not. Many many tractors with loaders out there without it.
