LV22RFSTKA2B and lv22rfstkab, the last 1 without the 2 between the a and the b is 196.00 on ebay and the other ebay don't show. But it is avaliable for almost 400.00. I just need a new one to replace a nimco controls 2s-40272.I don't understand why the one is double in price. It will mount on massey ferguson 1240 compact tractor. Link did not work. The difference can be metering or spool options. Also does it include power beyond? There is countless options for a spool valve and some of the cheaper ones are not very forgiving. Also need to make sure flow rating is a match for you system.

If you download the LV catalog about page 7 it will tell you the differences it is mainly the orientation of the joystick to the mounting plate which will effect how the valve operates and which port gets a regen mode and which has the float mode.
Unless you wish to change your valve mounting look at the different mountings and stick operation.

Click the link LouNY gave and scroll down to page D-55 and it gives the model code breakdown. But basically A, A1, A2, and A3 are how the joystick is positioned. Look at the diagram....it all comes down to HOW you mount the valve on the tractor.
A = hoses out the left
A1=hoses out the right
A2 = hoses out the bottom
A3=hoses out the top
IMPORTANT:
You also need to look at YOUR current valve and see if there are 6 hoses attached to it or 7. IF there are 7 hoses attached...(4 that go to the loader cylinders and 3 others) you NEED a valve that has the power beyond sleeve. And neither valve number you mention will work and likely the first time you put something heavy on the 3PH your valve will start leaking badly.
Regarding the extreme price difference....well...you are shopping two different places. I can show you a SKF bearing off a vendor on Ebay for $10. I can show you the exact same bearing at a place like Motion industries or Grainger for 4x the cost.
Hey thanks for the information. I guess I need the lv22rfstka2b or the lv22tstka2b. The old valve mounted under the plate and There are 6 hoses. If you or anyone knows of a different one that would work with my tractor I Would appreciate your advice. But either one of these has the same mounting as my old one. I just don't understand why changing the mount orientation doubles the price
