Kubota 7510. I throttle down and let the engine slow the PTO down, then clutch disengaged, let implement wind itself down.
Then I do the most IMPORTANT PART: stay on the tractor seat until PTO comes to a complete stop. I will never get off the seat with the PTO shaft spinning. Then shut off engine to prevent any restart until I am back in the seat. I have read too many horror stories about getting clothing caught in a PTO shaft turning. Any PTO operated equipment will still generate a lot of inertia and get me killed.
