what is the weight of 1525 FEL???

ok, you guys have me paranoid

i called the trailer manufacturer and he assured me the trailer would handle the weight of the tractor. my initial drive home was without incidence. the trailer handled well at 45 mph. attached are links to pictures of the trailer, tractor and truck. the rear end is not squatting and the trailer is fairly level.

i couldn't figure out how to edit the prior post with pictures, so here is a picture of the truck without the load. with the load, the hitch dropped 1 3/8". this is pretty un-scientific, but when i stood on the hitch sans trailer, the hitch went down approx 1/2". i weigh 200#, so i figure if there was 3 of me on the hitch (600#), it would drop approx 1 1/2". the rated tongue weight of the trailer is 700#.

for safety reasons, i'll drive the back roads at 45mph. when i get more funds, i'll get a tandem axle trailer
