I thought that's what the bracket about 8 inches ahead was for.

Had to watch this video to figure it out. Actually kind of neat. Look at about minute 4

Thanks, that might be it. But I wonder if there is something else. If you see further to the right on the boom there is a larger bracket, with two holes in it, that is where the hydro quick attach is supposed to go.

I suspect since they are trying to sell the idea that you can remove it all without leaving your seat, you drop it in the pipe first. Then once you are off the tractor you can mount it in the permanent home which you wouldn't be able to reach from the seat.

WOW, I wish my B2650 was that easy to mount and dismount the loader. Thanks for the video, now I'm jealous.

Funny story on that -- after first got it I took the loader off to mow the lawn. Had a terrible time getting it back on. Right side wouldn't latch. The dealer sent a service person out and at first he couldn't get it to latch. I was terrified that I had bent the frame, or worse. But then the service person smartly recognized the problem. Tire pressure. The tire pressure was low on one side (plus the weight of the grass catcher) causing the whole thing to lean just enough so that the arms would not line up on both sides. After inflating the tire a bit .. on like a champ. Kinda embarrassing to have to get help the second week I owned it, but, lesson learned. And yeah, there is liquid ballast in the tire so not much air and with temperature differences the diameter of the tires varies a lot more than I would have ever expected. Never in a million years would I have checked for that.

My BX doesn't have the loader removal from the seat but I'm betting it doesn't take that much longer, maybe 60 seconds.
