What is your favorite flashlight?

Mine is my LED rechargeable stream light. I don't know if it counts, but I recently bought a LED work light which is SWEET. It pulls only 25 watts and is cool to the touch unlike the old halogen work lights. Here is a comparison between three lights, a 3 cell LED mag light, my stream light, and the LED work light.

Now let's compare prices and weight. The mag light is $28 on Amazon. The stream light is on Amazon for about $150. The work light is on Amazon for $45, but I bought it on sale at the hardware store for $35. The stream light weighs 13 OZ. the mag light weighs 29 OZ. I didn't weigh the work light because I didn't think it was very important. About the only plus I can give the mag light is it makes a better thug knocker.

I am a led Maglite fan. In particular I like the 2C size: Maglite ML100 2-Cell C LED Flashlight - Mid Size - Flashlights However, I have just purchased this 1000 lumens light and so far I am very impressed: Rechargeable / USB Charging Flashlight, 1,000 Lumens: Model# P1KPP-8/16 | True Value

I guess time will tell.

How does the 1,000 lumen light perform. I don't have high expectations for $29. I have several of these little Nebo redline lights. They are pretty bright, but their battery life is poor.

Bought two Duracell 1500 Lumen LEDs from Costco. Have one in the car and one at home. Have a bunch of others including weapon lights, Maglite 3 cell, 18V DeWalt etc and really like them.

1500 lumens is a lot of light. Nearly 5 times what my stream light puts out. I have a hard time believing that. Can you post a picture of it at night? How is the battery life?

I use a Makita LXT 18V lithium ion light. Its a good, heavy duty light and the charge will last at least two weeks with use every night.
