Where is that? Reminds me of some of the colors near Sullivan. But then again, all of the coast is beautiful!



This is part of my 6 mile commute- been driving this for 25 years +. It was even better before they put the poles in the ground! One day I saw a large coyote run across the road just to the right side of the photo near the trees.View attachment 340447

Scotty,, Season doesn't matter that is a very beautiful view from the tractor.. Some day soon I hope I'll just be riding to the mailbox,, hmmm do they have mailboxes in the Philippines ???

Half-hour drive from dad's house to college... live a mile and a quarter down a private dirt road, cross a main road (two lane, 40 mph), cut across 2 paved back roads for about 2 minutes to another main road for several minutes, then a hilly, windy road passing through the outskirts of a pond community/hilly golf course area, etc. Then hop on to a third main road for a couple minutes, then a "highway" (45 mph, briefly 3 lanes) to the "city", then 5 minutes down a 35 mph suburban neighborhood to the school.

After class, drive to the high school I work at/graduated from in 2012 (I work in the IT dept). 5 minute suburban road, 5 minute "highway," then 10 minutes of main road classified as scenic by CT straight, straight, straight to the school. Then about 15 minutes home via 3 back roads and 1 main road -- or about 5 minutes one main road, 6 minutes another main road, 4 minutes my dirt road.

My dad works from home. His bedroom is at one end of a 10-foot hallway, and the couch he works from is just around the corner of the other end (against the wall of the hallway). Even the bathroom is on the way. :laughing: He has to cross the foyer to the coffee, though....

My commute is from the bedroom to the kitchen to make coffee then a few steps to the computer while I look out at the geese and ducks on the pond when they are there.
After a couple cups of coffee, I will wander out to feed my chickens and gather the fresh eggs, maybe look around for something to do with my tractors.(or not )
Man it is nice to be retired.
