What kind of Rotary Mower is this?

I cant find any identification on this rotary mower. The gearbox is shot and I need to find a replacement. Can anyone tell me what type of mower this is or what gearbox to get?

Don't know what brand it is, but the gearbox looks to be an Omni Gear, which is what King Kutter and several other manufacturers use.

Thanks, I know its at least from the 70's and thought it may be a Ford???

Looks similar and might be a bolt on replacement (will need a slip clutch unless your PTO shaft has a one or a built in shear pin and connects with a splined shaft). Assuming that you have at least a 5' cut, the gear ratio should be right.

Looks very much like my ol man's kingkutter did before it went thru the use abuse rebuild repete cycle a few times.

Gearboxes from sevral makes will interchange.

No slip clutch on ours either. No pto shaft guard as well.

Ok, i just found on the back of the gearbox "warner auburn ind" i think it was blue originally? Anyone know if an omni would replace that?

Anything can be made to work.

I'd start out by searching for diagrams on Google... see if the hole spacings are the same.

It is a international brand from bethel ohiut of buisnes, but google it maybe on craigs list I have seen new old stock parts advertised. Try cincinnati craigs list.

The gearhead looks like my Taylor Way 240 which was taken over by King Kutter. I can get parts for it through Coastal Farm/King Kutter when needed.
