What model is this tractor?

Hi All,

Am looking to buy a tractor and have found one which should meet my needs.
Now, am not sure if the model I am being told is the correct one.
Please help me. The guy says its an MF 245, but I believe they all had 3 cyl engines?
This one has a 4 cyl diesel engine and he says the bhp is close to 55-60hp.
How far true is this?
I have attached a pic I took with my cellphone as an afterthought, mind you, it's still being restored.
It has round headlights.
Are they enough to tell?

I would say 255 if it's 55-60hp.

From the photo, there's no garantee that it's a MF, need to check to be sure it isn't a Indian made Tafe. They are very similar.

Find the serial number tag or plate if it's still on the tractor somewhere. Usually those have the manufacturers name too. If you can find it look on tractor data to see if those numbers were for a MF 245. When I looked at your pic I thought it was about a 245; I have no idea what a Tafe looks like.

At a glance I would say it's not a MF and is tafe or similar clone , hard to tell . Check serial numbers .
