Excuse the rant but hear me out.
I'm far from expert on anything tractor related. But in forty yrs of using quick disconnects I never needed 90 degree C clip pliers and vice grips to use them.
I wanted to disconnect my rear hydraulics because the previous owner had 2 of the 3 functions plumbed wrong. Normally no big deal right.
Just unplug and re-plug the hoses. Well > meet kubota's better idea. MX5200 Kubota put the couplers in a tube and secured them there with a recessed c clip that is
located in hole accessible only by special 90º C clip pliers. Attached to really short hoses. So short you could barely pull the connector out of the tube let alone operate it ! I mean really? Whoever designed this never changed rear attachments twice in a day.
Whoever designed this needs to be taken to the woodshed. They literally took the quick out of the quick disconnect. Aweful! Why would you but QA attachment hardware in front and do this to the rear!?
Idiots. Okay - rant over.
I'll fix it. I need easy access quick change hoses for the rear. My first thought is to go to the hydraulic hose store and ask those guys to make me up some male to female quick change adapters. which I can install in the 4 ports that need to be disconnected to remove the gannon tilt and rippers.
