What Plow for my Ford 4000

I have a 1966 Ford 4000 gas tractor, could a 3-14" bottom plow be pulled easily with this tractor. It is an old tractor, and wdon't want to put maximun strain on it. If this plow is to large, please recommend the size I should use.

Plowing is quite dependent upon the ground (soil) that you are wanting to turn over. Over the years, this same question gets kicked around a lot, but the bottom line, it depends on your ground. Some soil is easy to turn, and some clay soils are nearly impossible to get through. Your neighbors who plow will likely be able to answer that question a lot easier, because you have not filled out your bio, and we don't know where you are at.

Thanks for replying, I live west central Indiana. If I buy a Plow and it is too much for the tractor, can I remove one of the plows?

A 33hp NAA will pull a 3 bottom in good soilconditions and easy soil. A ford 4000 gas job should make good work out of a 3-14 even in clay.
