Hey everyone!
I haven't posted in a while but it's not due to laziness...and while searching various posts and threads here, I cannot find the answer and hope you can provide it.
My driveway is 15 years old, 1/4 mile long and over the years has been covered by pea stone and hardpack. Living in New England, the winter wreaks havoc on it and I need to grade it two to three times a year. I have a 2009 Massey Ferguson GC2400 Tractor. It has a 3 cylinder Iseki engine that produces 22.5 horsepower and has four wheel drive models that weigh 1433 pounds. I've pulled a 7' york rake to grade the driveway in the past but I'm beyond that now. Skimming the top is nothing compared to ripping.
I think I need to buy a box blade with the rippers so I can get rid of the potholes and even it out. What size can this tractor handle without overworking it? I do have the tires filled with calcium and a bucket on the front as well.
Obviously I wish I went one size bigger for the tractor...as I suspect no one has ever said, "Boy did I buy too much tractor?!?!":laughing:
Any help and advice you could provide would be soooo appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
