Oil & Fuel What size is that oil filter?

I have an LS i3040 which is the same thing as a New Holland Boomer 35.

I need to find out what size oil filter i should buy. the New Holland part number is MT40219853

If anyone has any ideas or answers I'd be thankful

If it is not new and you are having trouble getting the factory replacement, and you are sure the NH part number will work....take that part number or the LS number if you can find it to almost any real parts store and they can cross it to their brand.

When I looked on the New Holland website for the oil filter on a Boomer 35 the number that they list is MT40056451. That number and the number that you gave (MT40219853) do not seem to cross to a WIX brand filter. Both New Holland and WIX have great websites. If you know the manufacturer and model of the engine then you should be able to get the WIX crossover number. The WIX website will also list the specifications for each filter i.e., height, O.D., thread size and on and on. It also will list other applications for the same filter.
