I have a John Deere 755 and am buying a box blade from a friend. I need to buy a toplink for it but, being new to the tractor thing I don't know what size I need. I hope someone can help me with this.

By size, do you mean category of toplink or length of the toplink?
Hook up the box blade and measure how long the top link needs to be, pin center to pin center. Buy one that the mid point of its adjustment is the length you need.
Hook up the box blade to the lower links. Level it by raising or lowering the lower links. Measure from the center of the top link pin on the box blade to the center of the toplink pin on the tractor. Buy a top link that is that long at the center of it's adjustment. Then you can tilt the box blade forward or back as needed. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Can someone with a JD 755 measure it for this fellow?
This is the only way I know to determine the proper length. Might also try calling a JD dealer.
