Kioti CK-3510SE
Hey guys, hopefully getting my new Kioti CK3510SE this week and need to get a new trailer for it. Im thinking car hauler with 7K should be enough, but how long to get it is the question. I would like to be able to load it with the FEL and a 5-6' Brush Bull off the back. What size trailer can I fit this set up on? If I curl the bucket then put it flat will that save me a descent amount of room? Any info on this would be great, thanks.

I’d prefer a 20’ but it’s possible to do it with a shorter trailer.

Most car haulers have ramps that stow/slide underneath the trailer, so a cutter or other implement won't be an issue. But with those kind of ramps when you start on and off the trailer it will be subject to pickup the trucks rear wheels and might allow rolling.
Wheel chocks and some type of heavy jack or stand on each rear corner that doesn't allow the trailer to go down enough to raise the truck up enough to roll will be required.

You are well under 5k according to tractor data, Around 3500 or less depending on the setup, I believe you could go with 5k axles with brakes on at least on axle.

I have an old Ford 1715 (27 hp). With the fel it is about 12-13 feet. Add a 60" rotary cutter and it is in the neighborhood of 18 ft
I bought an 18' car hauler with a gross of 9990#. I licensed my PU at 16000 just under the commercial limit in Washington.
My advise would be to get as much trailer as you feel comfortable pulling. Nothing worse than later wishing you had gotten a bigger one.

If your getting the trailer after you have the tractor and cutter, then set it up like you would want it setting on the trailer and measure the overall length. That way you will have a good idea of what length trailer would work best for you.

If you mean 7k total (2 3,500lb axle), I suggest a 10k trailer 2 (5,000k) axles. Brakes on both axles. I have 18', 7k car hauler, brakes on both axles, with a similar size tractor, FEL and brushbull and the tail wheel hangs off end. Most likely yours would also. Plus hardly any room to distribute weight.

I guess I'm recommending to you what I should have bought! 10k (9,990) trailer, 20' length.

It's law (at least in Michigan) to have brakes on ALL axles, this went into effect around 2010.

It sounds like your machine will be a bit lighter than my Deere. How often do you plan on trailering this machine? I had an 18' car hauler with slide in ramps, but that got old! I now have a 23' 14000gvw tiltdeck trailer - easy on/easy off. There are many manufacturers than make them - check them out on youtube or google. I wouldn't have anything else.

So when I bought the CK4010 I got a 20' metal bed rated at 10.4k with trailer weighing in at 2800#'s.
Then the NX came into play.
IF you do not foresee upgrading to a larger tractor then a 20' 10.4# rated trailer will handle your need plus front, rear implements.
Shorter then 20' and the tail wheel may hang over the bed and we all know how well today's drivers pay attention right? ;)
