Hello - I am looking to purchase a snow blower for my 2005 GT2550 Cub Cadet. I know the OEM 190-341 will work, but the front worm gear seems small and I'm not sure how well the impeller works. Any input from the folks here? I saw some are proud owners....
I was looking seriously at Bercomac blowers - the 40" Compact and 44" Northeast (which has a heavy-duty worm gear in front). Although just today I spoke to a Berco customer service person and they said they were having some difficulty with blowers on the GT2500 series with belts popping off...it was strange that they were discouraging me from purchasing, but normal customers would be unaware of this. I was not impressed by their customer service team, but they seem to make a great blower - I just wish they could figure out whether it works on this model and year (note: in 2006 the 2500 series changed their exhaust location, which is why I think Berco is confused about their blower options as the belts would come close to the exhaust tip on the 2005 or older)
