Grapple What stuff do i need, other than the actual grapple?

Hey guys... I'm trying to throw a root grapple on my kubota L3940 (which has skid steer quick release). Other than the actual grapple itself, what the heck do i need to buy to make this work?)

Im assuming some hydraulic splitters and tubes, but i have no idea what else.

Anyone feel like helping make a list?

If your tractor has rear remotes you just need a couple hoses to reach the front and the proper fittings. If you don't have rear remotes one of the hydraulics experts here will answer what you need.
I don't use my rear remotes so that was the cheapest way for me to get hydraulic line to the loader.

You will need what is called"third function" ,either the Kubota factory set-up or an after-market from various sources.

WR Long makes complete kits with what you need. You can call them directly or I think Everything Attachments carries them based on your model

If you go the diverter route, you'll need hoses made or modified (what I did) to direct the valve's output into the diverter, then hoses to run from the diverter to the front of the boom arms. You'll need some kind of quick connects for the tractor side, and might want different ones than the grapple comes with (maybe skidsteer flat face? I did that since I have a SSQA mount on my loader). You'll need some form of switch to activate the diverter, and then a bit of wire to connect it all.

Making your own "kit" isn't all that hard. I found it a mostly enjoyable process.
