WHAT THE HECK IS THIS?

I check EBay occasionally for a service manual for my Kubota M4900. Usually when I type "M4900" in the search field I get nothing. Today one item shows up - they are supposed to be some type of quick connect arms but they don't look like a part of any quick connect system I have seen before.

Any ideas what this is?

My guess is they bolt to a tool carrier frame to carry the bucket, forks, whatever.

Perhaps a quick attach for a backhoe bucket?

To me they look like they would go on the loader arms, allowing quick disconnect of the bucket, or whatever. OR, they could go between the loader arms and the loader frame, allowing quick disconnect of the entire loader assembly. Granted, I don't own an M4900, so take everything I said with a grain of salt.

edit - They have three holes. One for a pivot point, one for a cylinder mount, and one for a fixed mounting pin.

According to the M4900 price book, an M1067 is a quick attach bracket kit that is required for for loader buckets with the M1066 coupler to make them quick attach. List price for the M1067 is $145.

The M1066 quick attach coupler is required on LA1001 and LA1002 loaders to accept quick coupler implements. The M1066 requires the M1067 brackets. The list price for the M1066 is $175.

Thanks for the replies. I don't have a loader on my tractor so I didn't recognize these. It looks like somebody may get a bargain if they need them. They're at $12.50 plus $39.95 shipping with 11 hours to go.

Of course if you don't need them (like me) they would be a pretty expensive boat anchor. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

They look similar to the QT on my MF for the loader bucket. Mine works really well.

Yup, they convert the pin-type LA1001/LA1002 bucket to use the Kubota-style quick attach in a retro-fit situation. Just don't forget that you'll need another set of loader pins to install the brackets onto the bucket--not cheap!
