GC2310,
Does anyone know why the green's and the orange feel the need to post on the red forum?
Do the red's post on their forums? (I don't go there, so I seriously do not know)

Maybe their color blind, I am. :D I look at it this way. If it works for you and your happy with it color doesn't matter.

Judging by the postings, color blind does not seem to be the case.

Ray,

Allot of us don't pay attention to the locaton of the posting. We just read the latest posts in the last 24 hours and respond to anything that sounds interesting. For me, I rarely know what forum it's in, as it doesn't make any difference. If a member has an interesting project or experience, I like to read about it.

Limiting yourself to just the one forum is fine if you're happy with what you're getting, but there is some truly amazing stuff on here that will only make you more knowledgable. Especially on things that you might not have even thought of before.

I've been a member here at TBN for a while now, and so far as I know, there is NO "exclusive membership" to any individual forums. As an example, this Massey Ferguson forum is open to ANYONE who wants opinions, facts, comparisons, or just general information regarding anything MF and/or how they compare to another brand. It's a forum frequented by Massey owners and enthusiast's, who HOPEFULLY are willing to supply those opinions/facts/comparisons/ect. But no where does it say a Deere owner isn't allowed here, or that it takes a secret handshake to gain access.

Currently, I own several Massey Fergusons/Fergusons, a couple John Deere's, and have owned several other colors. I consider myself more of a Massey Ferguson owner/enthusiast than any other brand, but I don't exclude those others from my thoughts.

And then there's the good ol' "COLOR WARS". That's been an on-going debate since the second tractor was built. (MY tractor is better than YOUR tractor...) As long as it's done in good nature, what's the harm? Just a few "good ol' boys" trash talking over their favorite brands.

For the record, the MORE you squawk about Johnny Deere boys coming over to the MF forum, the more effort they'll put forth. Those GREENIES are like that you know.

I do not read individual forums. I read the newest post since I last logged on. I never know or care what specific forum they are posted in.

Some of us have had or still have many different colors, right now I have Orange (Kioti) and Blue (Old Ford), In the past I've had Red (Massey) and Green (Oliver) what works for one often works for the other.

I also use the 24 hour feature. Only posts that have had activity in the past 24 hours pop up.I never pay attention to which tractor color it might have been posted in. So many of the posts are generic anyways. Every time I log on, there are tpically 190-210 posts from the past 24 hours. I scan the subjects and maybe open a dozen or so out of the 200. The rest I ignore.

I have probably posted replies in other color forums. I never noticed that and will not bother to look in the future either.
