What\' this for? Kubota loader question...

Hi,

Had a chance to stop and chat with Cerberus this afternoon, and to check out his new 3130. Nice machine!

There is a little tab on the inside of each side of the loader arms. We couldn't figure out what it was for. Anyone know or have a guess? Ice cream cone holders? You got me... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Could it be a bracket to hold the loader attachment pins? My LA352 has small tabs similiar to this which hold the pins that attach the loader to the frame.

They are to put the attachment pins in when you remove the loader.

AH !!! So That's what they're for !!!! I'd have probably figured it out when I read the FEL removal proceedures . But I having a bit too much fun using it to even think about taking it off /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif John

I thought they were tiny little cup holders for tiny little cups..... /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif - like shot glasses....

When I take my loader off, I stick the pins right back in the holes where they came out of, on the loader frame. You won't lose them and you can't put the loader on until you pull them back out of the holes, so you won't forget to reinstall them. Well at least I won't, attention deficit don't you know. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

My LA302 has a slightly different version. It looks like you bud's is made to accept the fatter "pin" part. Mine are only big enough for the handle of the pin to fit. They are at the very top of the attached pic. I guess they could be used for a pair of American flags if you wanted to drive in a parade with the loader attached /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif........................chim
