What thread type/TPI does the US use on garden taps?

Looking to buy some Claber 8488 water timers, Dual Select - 8488 need to know what tap outlet thread you guys use, type and TPI, to see if I can utilize in Australia. One other problem I also see is that your quick connects may be different, so the outlet thread of the timer fittings may need to be checked as well.

3/4 inch non-tapered, 11.5 threads per inch.

Thanks Bruce, so it's not going to mate with our 14 TPI!

Nearly the same as our standard 3/4" water pipe except not tapered. They can be interconnected.

14 TPI tap screwed into an 11.5 TPI plastic threaded timer fitting at 150 psi isn't going to work unfortunately, and I don't have a lathe to make something up. I'll have to find something else. I liked this one due to its dual programmable outlets, 174 psi max pressure, slow close solenoid.

Maybe I buy some brass adapter fittings and silver solder to something of mine, anyone know what the smaller outlet thread type/TPI is on the timer?

Claber is an Italian company. Maybe the tap thread is 14 TPI.

Thanks Bruce, I was going to buy from Amazon.com Amazon.com : Claber 8488 Dual Select Advanced Push-Button Digital Water Timer with Two Outlets : Programmable Sprinkler Timer : Patio, Lawn & Garden so expected US fittings, but don't know what the smaller outlet thread you use is. I will email them to find out what they supply.

Probably other sources, too.

Or make your own adapter with a US hose-to-pipe fitting, then your short pipe, then a pipe to AU hose fitting.
