Have a 1533 and love it so far. Bought it used with 350 hours...currently have 435 hours on it. Only problem we've had was ripping the hydraulic filter off from underneath driver's station (right foot area where quick disconnects to FEL are located)

May I ask what you paid for it?

Sure

it was an '05 with 350 hours on it. In great shape, but had some dings in the hood and grill. WR Long 4n1 bucket, Bush Hog Squealer 160, 5' disc (square tubing) and 4' Hardee Box Blade for $13,000. Seller was in irrigation/plumbing business and needed a backhoe that could dig at least 8' and his mini-ex couldn't handle it so he was selling this since he ordered a new JD 110 and needed the money for the JD. Thought we got a pretty good deal on it so it might not be representative of what's out there. It was a Craig's List ad, also.

I went from a NH TC29D Boomer compact to a MF1529. The MF hydraulics are much smoother than the NH and I love the armrests and loader control position. I like the Syncro shuttle on the Masssey also. I looked at the 1600 series when I bought my 1529 and loved it but was more tractor than I needed.
