What to do...What to do....

I have a few options for getting a Cub Cadet.

I posted about a 3165 & Snowblower for (500/600hrs)$4500, There is a 3168 @ a dealer for (500Hrs) $1900. with no snowblower, then I could find a user one. Or should I loo at the Home Depot 1054 (26 HP Kohler) with a blower for $3300. (With Blower, Softside cab & weights)

These are way too many decisions. Any Advice????

Personally I would stay away from any of the 1000, 1500 series cubs. Not that they are not well made or prone to braking down, its just that they are not made for much more than mowing a lawn. I own a 1018 and that's about all it will do. Don't let the high horse power confuse you either. I believe that the high horse power just equals higher rpm not necessarily higher power.
I firmly believe in a shaft drive not belt drive. I just bought an older 1882 with 18 hp (2 cylinders) and shaft drive and it will do things that the 18hp 1018 can only dream of.(belt drive)
I think that if you are snow blowing you would want something with some weight to it and a shaft drive for torque and a 1054 will not give you that.
Believe me from experience that what you think might work is probably too small and you should get a tractor a little bigger than you think.
Take my opinions with a grain of salt as I am not an expert but only can convey what I've recently researched and experienced.
Bottom line, get one of the 3000 series.
